The EVITA Security Classification

EVITA defines three tiers: EVITA Light (sensor nodes), EVITA Medium (chassis/powertrain ECUs), and EVITA Full (central gateways and telematics). AutoHSM delivers EVITA Full compliance, featuring dedicated asymmetric cryptographic accelerators (RSA/ECC) alongside high-speed symmetric AES-CMAC engines.

Hardware Inter-Core Communication

Communication between the host processor and AutoHSM occurs through a hardware-enforced Inter-Processor Communication (IPC) mailbox, ensuring that buffer overflows in application code cannot compromise HSM memory.

EVITA Full Cores: Dedicated 32-bit secure CPU, hardware accelerators, and internal secure RAM/ROM.
Hardware Isolation: Physically separate bus infrastructure isolating the HSM from the application core.
AEC-Q100 Grade 0: Silicon operational capability from -40°C to +150°C under extreme engine-bay conditions.
ASIL D Certification: Dual-lockstep hardware checkers ensuring safety-critical fail-operational integrity.
